Stage 2 Traffic Pattern Active

On Monday May 13, 2013 the project's contractor implemented Stage 2 of the traffic control plan on Lake Cook Road.

During this stage, construction activity will be limited to the northern half of Lake Cook Road while the roadway is constructed. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction and will be shifted to the southern half of Lake Cook Road.

In preparation for the placement of pavement, which is scheduled to take place next week, the Contractor will work to complete the remaining underground utility work on the northern portion of Lake Cook Road,  

Additionally, daily lane closures will continue to take place on Waukegan Road.
